There is a lot of discussion going on about ways to charter a unit--traditional charters, council charters, affiliation agreements, facility-use agreements, and even some hybrid arrangements.  Several of our members are developing resources for considering the pros and cons of these various proposed charter relationships.  What are you doing to sort through the options?  What concerns do you have about choosing leaders, limiting liability, securing insurance, registering trailers, owning unit gear, accounting, personal tax liability, or other issues?  Do you already have a table or chart of some kind to navigate these issues.  Please share your work with Jay Lenrow and contribute to the work he and his council are doing.  We hope to share the work product with our members.
